Other Circles of Gwada Bouyon

Outside the New Bouyon Wave: Le Bluff, LeYou, TedLa, Cocotteland, Pinpin OSP, Billy BYBF, tenslay and DJ LEGUSTE — the parallel circles powering Gwada Bouyon 2022-2026.

Position 0 — The New Bouyon Wave is 8 precise voices: 1T1, TIITII NBA, Softee, Aknose, Nils, Luky Lukee, Le Juh, Theomaa. Next to it, other circles are running Gwada Bouyon 2022-2026 without belonging to the NBW: the Le Bluff × LeYou × TedLa trio around DJ LEGUSTE, the DJ LEGUSTE × Cocotteland tandem, Pinpin OSP (ex-trap who pivots to bouyon), Billy BYBF and the Team Bwè Tou Sa collective, and tenslay (bridge between Guadeloupe and Dominica).

You know the NBW. You've seen 1T1, TIITII NBA, Theomaa drop releases. But you've also seen other names running in Gwada Bouyon right now, and you don't quite know where to place them. This chapter gives you the map of the parallel circles. Not to fold them into the NBW — they don't belong to it. To name them correctly and tell why they matter in the same 2022-2026 sequence.

I — Outside the NBW, other circles exist

The New Bouyon Wave is a closed composition: 8 voices, crystallised on September 29, 2023 with the "New Bouyon Wave #1" single. Not one more, not one less. That precision matters because it protects the story. If you start widening the composition to every Gwada bouyon voice dropping since 2022, you lose what the NBW tells: a specific collective, around 1T1, that planted a collective signature over the same period.

But Gwada Bouyon 2022-2026 isn't just the NBW. Next to it, several circles rise in parallel. Some turn around a connecting producer (DJ LEGUSTE). Others around a collective (Team Bwè Tou Sa). Others around a singular path (Pinpin OSP, who pivots from trap to bouyon; tenslay, who bridges with Dominica).

This chapter names them. Not to merge them into the NBW. To tell them in their own place.

II — Faut Qu'on S'explique 2023: the Le Bluff × LeYou × TedLa trio around DJ LEGUSTE

The pivot single of 2023 outside the NBW is "Faut Qu'on S'explique" — collective release by Le Bluff, LeYou and TedLa under the production of DJ LEGUSTE. The track plants the three voices together on the same beat and pushes the trio out into the Gwada bouyon scene [S-FQE].

The format is simple: DJ LEGUSTE builds the beat, and he invites voices from his circle. Same pattern that will repeat with Cocotteland (section III). But first, this trio reveals the DJ LEGUSTE signature as a connecting producer.

On the individual side, Le Bluff opened his catalog in 2022 with "C HOT", then runs in 2023 with "Chocolate" and "Face à Face" (prod DJ LEGUSTE) [S-BLF-AM]. LeYou started in 2022 with "On LoLo" on the Gold Color Riddim [S-LEYOU-AM]. TedLa enters the catalog with this single and the tandem that follows with LeYou. Three different paths that "Faut Qu'on S'explique" pulls together on the same beat.

In 2024, the three voices reunite on "VIN TCHEK NOU" on the collective album "Premières Notes" [S-LEYOU-AM, S-BLF-AM]. The trio becomes a stable signature of the DJ LEGUSTE circle — distinct from the NBW, but active over the same period.

Faut Qu'on S'explique in 2023 reveals a trio the NBW doesn't contain — Le Bluff, LeYou and TedLa around a producer who knows how to gather several voices on a single beat.

III — DJ LEGUSTE × Cocotteland: the producer-singer tandem

Still in 2023, DJ LEGUSTE opens another tandem: with Cocotteland on "NI ANLÈY NI A KOTÉ" [S-LEG-AM]. Same setup as with the Le Bluff × LeYou × TedLa trio — DJ LEGUSTE builds the beat, signs under his own name, and invites the voice. But this time, the invited voice will build her own career.

In 2024, the tandem stacks: "SIWO feat Cocotteland" drops on February 2, 2024 on Apple Music [S-LEG-SIWO]. Follows "I Don't Know feat Cocotteland" [S-LEG-AM]. Three back-to-back features with the same singer plant a stable duo in the scene.

What changes in 2025 is that Cocotteland switches solo. "Gwo Dada" with Natoxie and MIKADO on the feature drops under her own name — first single as the main artist [S-COCO-AM]. Right after come "Tout Koté", "TETRIS", "LA COTE" with N'ken and "Vite fait". Five releases in the year.

2026 confirms: "4X4" with Totally Spice's (February 2026) connects Cocotteland to the female pole documented in Chapter X — The Women of Bouyon. "Top Shatta" with Virtuose and MJTX opens the year in January. And "Prada" drops solo on May 1, 2026 [S-COCO-AM].

The 2023-2026 trajectory is clear: the voice that used to show up as a feature on DJ LEGUSTE has become a name that carries the releases.

IV — Pinpin OSP: the ex-trap who pivots to bouyon

Next to the DJ LEGUSTE circle, Pinpin OSP builds another path. He used to do trap. Today he's full bouyon. The switch is claimed: not a mix of both, a new lane.

The bouyon catalog opens in 2023 with "Open Like Dat", then "Vody" on DJ-Taffy's Funny Riddim [S-PIN-AM, S-PIN-YT] — one of the riddims driving the Gwada scene at the time. In 2024, "Don't Play" lands under YasBeats production. "Ti bébé" extends the run. The tracks travel on local radio and TikTok, and Pinpin OSP becomes a name people remember.

2025 opens the features phase. "Douxtcha" drops with tenslay — the Guadeloupe-Dominica bridge (section VI). "BACK IT UP" follows with Ted la and CK gee. And the collab with Shanika on "On Biten Ba'w" plugs Pinpin into the female pole of the scene.

On Apple Music, Pinpin OSP is ranked next to Cocotteland, Thesmsgirls, Totally Spice's, LESTEF KJF and DJ LEGUSTE [S-PIN-AM]. That's exactly the map this chapter draws — a circle distinct from the NBW, active over the same period.

V — Billy BYBF and Team Bwè Tou Sa

Billy BYBF builds yet another way. BYBF stands for "Ba Yo Bon Fè" in Creole — "they did well". On the style side, it's bouyon and shatta with contemporary production and a voice that brings back the festive energy of the genre [S-BYBF-PEP].

The discography milestone lands in 2024. The "Diyosa" EP drops in the year and plants the signature. The single "Tu veux" with Lünik finds its audience. And on March 21, 2024, "Nous y est" drops with Gamma and Lünik — a dance-floor single that becomes one of his most-listened tracks [S-BYBF-NYE].

In July 2024, the collective album "TRAVAILLONS" from Team Bwè Tou Sa marks the shared dimension of the project. Billy BYBF is one of the album's voices, and the collective plants a stable circle of Gwada bouyon around a shared signature [S-BYBF-PEP].

On the stage side, Billy BYBF hits Belle Electrique in Grenoble for the 2025 Fièvre d'Hiver [S-BYBF-FIEVRE] — a passage that plugs him into the mainland festival circuit, beyond the Caribbean route. In 2026, "SUPER BAYOBONFÈ" extends the brand, and multiple collaborations with producer Magbeatz document the other side of the studio work.

VI — tenslay: the bridge between Guadeloupe and Dominica

tenslay is yet another case. He lives in Guadeloupe but his roots are Dominican. He rolls with the KJF BOYZ crew. His tag is VCVC — short for "Vieux Chien Vieux Clebard", "Old Dog Old Mongrel". The 🐶 emoji that runs across his socials is his signature.

The track that broke him is "Doglife" in 2022. Production Litleboy, mix DJ TILOV [S-TEN-DOG]. The song runs on TikTok, hits in bouyon parties, and tenslay becomes a name people remember. He follows with "Doglife 2" — direct sequel, video directed by Wot Street, mix Jay Breezy. The Doglife series lands as his brand.

In June 2025, tenslay lands on Pinpin OSP's "Douxtcha" on the feature [S-TEN-AM]. The single brings two bouyon circles together: tenslay's Dominican voice and the Guadeloupean artist Pinpin OSP. On a single beat composed by Brian LOMBA and Stanley HENRI, the Guadeloupe-Dominica bridge materialises.

No big solo catalog outside the Doglife series for now. But the VCVC tag keeps running, and every feature that goes through him carries the Dominican-Guadeloupean identity with it.

VII — Why these circles matter — and why they're distinct from the NBW

By the end of the chapter, the question is simple: why are we telling these circles in a separate chapter, and not inside the NBW chapter?

The answer is in the composition. The NBW = 8 exact voices (1T1, TIITII NBA, Softee, Aknose, Nils, Luky Lukee, Le Juh, Theomaa). Crystallised publicly on September 29, 2023. Not one more, not one less. That precision isn't a bureaucratic detail. It's what keeps the NBW story readable — a collective around 1T1, over a given period, with a clear collective signature.

The voices told in this chapter — Le Bluff, LeYou, TedLa, Cocotteland, Pinpin OSP, Billy BYBF, tenslay, DJ LEGUSTE — share the same period but not the same circle. They build their path next to it, with other producers, other collectives (Team Bwè Tou Sa, KJF BOYZ), other logics (the producer-voice tandem under DJ LEGUSTE, the island bridge under tenslay, the genre switch under Pinpin OSP).

Recognising these circles as distinct means respecting the history. And it also serves these artists: they aren't a NBW extension. They're another branch of contemporary Gwada bouyon, which deserves its own story.

FAQ — common questions about the other circles of Gwada Bouyon

Why aren't Le Bluff, LeYou and TedLa part of the New Bouyon Wave? Because the NBW is a closed composition with 8 precise voices (1T1, TIITII NBA, Softee, Aknose, Nils, Luky Lukee, Le Juh, Theomaa), crystallised on September 29, 2023 with the "New Bouyon Wave #1" single. The Le Bluff × LeYou × TedLa trio rises around a different producer circle — DJ LEGUSTE — over the same period, but with a different collective signature.

What is "Faut Qu'on S'explique"? Collective single released in 2023 by Le Bluff, LeYou and TedLa under DJ LEGUSTE's production. It's the track that reveals the trio in the Gwada bouyon scene (official BOUYON 2023 YouTube video).

Is DJ LEGUSTE a DJ or a producer? Producer, not a club DJ. The "DJ" in his name is a Caribbean scene convention. He builds the beats, signs his releases as the lead artist, and invites voices (Cocotteland on SIWO and NI ANLÈY NI A KOTÉ, Le Bluff × LeYou × TedLa on Faut Qu'on S'explique).

Who is Cocotteland? A Guadeloupean singer (Djénaé Castelneau) who starts as a feature on DJ LEGUSTE in 2023 (NI ANLÈY NI A KOTÉ, SIWO in 2024, I Don't Know), then switches solo in 2025 with "Gwo Dada". In 2026, she collaborates with Totally Spice's on "4X4" and drops "Prada" solo on May 1.

Does Pinpin OSP do bouyon or trap? Bouyon today. He used to do trap. The switch is claimed since 2023 with "Open Like Dat", then "Vody" on DJ-Taffy's Funny Riddim. The catalog since 2024 is entirely bouyon ("Don't Play", "Ti bébé", "Douxtcha" feat tenslay, "BACK IT UP" with Ted la and CK gee).

Billy BYBF — what does it stand for? BYBF = Ba Yo Bon Fè in Creole, "they did well". Guadeloupean artist tied to the Team Bwè Tou Sa collective. Discography milestone in 2024 with the "Diyosa" EP, the "Nous y est" single with Gamma and Lünik (March 21, 2024), and the collective album "TRAVAILLONS" (July 2024). In 2026, "SUPER BAYOBONFÈ" extends the signature.

Why is tenslay in this chapter if he's Dominican? Because he lives in Guadeloupe and rolls with the KJF BOYZ crew. His roots are Dominican, but his practice unfolds across both islands. His feature on Pinpin OSP's "Douxtcha" in 2025 documents this island bridge. The VCVC tag he carries on his socials means "Vieux Chien Vieux Clebard".

How do these artists connect to TIITII NBA and the NBW? Indirectly. They're parallel circles to the NBW, over the same 2022-2026 period. Pinpin OSP, for example, shares the platform ecosystem and similar artists with Cocotteland, Thesmsgirls, Totally Spice's, LESTEF KJF — which places them on the same Gwada bouyon map as the extended network around TIITII NBA.
