A solo artist from Loger, not a collective

Lestef KJF Boyz is a solo Bouyon Gwada artist from Loger, not a collective, despite the plural "Boyz" that invites confusion. The sequence really does build around a single voice. The starting point is "50/50" in 2020, a single with T-BTS featuring. Then the KJF series settles in: "KJF 2" in 2022 confirms the solo signature and anchors it in the Gwada transition of Loger. Those first releases lay the ground for an artist who will, from 2023, tip into a far denser production orbit.

The DJ Luchshiy orbit and the Xmas Freestyle format

From 2023, Lestef KJF Boyz enters the DJ Luchshiy orbit, and the trajectory changes tempo. "Xmas freestyle" 2023 with DJ Luchshiy and Edday sets the first date of a format that will become an annual ritual. In 2024 the series takes shape with three releases: "Chabin (Xmas Freestyle)", "Mons (Xmas Freestyle)" and "To to to (Xmas Freestyle)", all with DJ Luchshiy and Edday. The Xmas Freestyle becomes a near-format of Loger, identifiable, expected at year's end. In 2025 the pairing consolidates with the EP "X PRESS FREESTYLE" bringing together DJ Luchshiy, Edday and Lestef KJF Boyz, then with "NO COME BACK (WHATCHA SAY)" and "Whatcha Say Riddim". In 2026, "TAKE UR TIME" with DJ Luchshiy confirms the regularity of that platform collaboration.

The bridge to the New Bouyon Wave with Karibbean Gyal

The most striking opening of the 2025 sequence is "Karibbean Gyal" with Le Juh, one of the eight canonical voices of the New Bouyon Wave. That release sets an editorial bridge between the Gwada transition of Loger and the Guadeloupean NBW generation. The same year, "6 Dwèt" with DJ Luchshiy and Totally Spice's widens the network further, bringing the female duo together with the Luchshiy pairing. Lestef KJF Boyz thereby becomes one of the crossing points between two scenes. Almost his entire 2020-2026 catalogue is made with DJ Luchshiy or Edday, a rare loyalty, where many Bouyon Gwada artists change producer with every release. And his anchoring counts: Loger is not Pointe-à-Pitre, and it is from that small point on the map that he built his year-end freestyle ritual.
