From one One Riddim to the next, DJ Softee shows up: "Bidiba Bidibou" on the Keneth Riddim in June 2023, "Gardavou" on the Zézé in December 2023, "Everyday" on the TROICROI in 2024 , the three 1T1-signed projects that bring the New Bouyon Wave together. The "New Bouyon Wave #1" one-off (September 2023) then gives the movement its name, and Softee is one of the five voices on it, with TIITII NBA, Nils, Aknose and Theomaa. From "Mouvement Chodong" (2021) to the New Bouyon Wave core

DJ Softee. Julian White by his civil name, did not wait for the New Bouyon Wave to start releasing. His first single is "Mouvement Chodong" in 2021, with Le Locksey and a beat by DJ Swafet, the "Chodong" that becomes his trademark. Around the same time you find him on "Zanana" with Trns. His logic is there from the start: a DJ who builds the sound and brings the voices in on top. He stacks up the "CHODONG MIX" series and forms his own crew, Chodong Route Empire (C.R.E), with DJ Boko and DJ Dirtee. When the New Bouyon Wave gets its name in 2023, Softee is already installed. DJ, composer and singer at once, three roles where most hold one.

The TIITII NBA tandem and the Chodong Route Empire EP

The strongest partnership in the DJ Softee catalogue is with TIITII NBA. In 2024 they release "KPT" together, a Warm Up single that sets the tandem. In 2025, the EP "Chodong Route Empire C.R.E" is not an isolated single but a real project that establishes staying power. In 2024, "BOUNCE" with DJ Luchshiy builds a bridge with the other big production pole of the Gwada transition, the Luchshiy tandem driving the Xmas Freestyle series and the X PRESS FREESTYLE EP. In 2026, "LESE NOU PASE" with TIITII NBA, Ma6mo and Diixly extends the collaboration with TIITII NBA into a new cycle. The same year, "Jéré Sa" with Edday, Jixels, DJ Boko and YSN, the beatmaker pole plus the Bouyon Gwada artists active on the platforms, widens the mesh again.
