Guadeloupe, Dominican roots, and a dog as a tag

tenslay is a Bouyon singer based in Guadeloupe. But his roots are Dominican, and you hear it in the sound. He rolls with the KJF BOYZ crew. His tag is VCVC, short for "Vieux Chien Vieux Clebard". The dog emoji that comes back everywhere on his socials is not decoration: it is his signature.

Doglife 2022: the title that puts him on the map

The title that reveals him is "Doglife" in 2022. Litleboy production, DJ TILOV mix. The title drops, hits on TikTok, runs in the Bouyon nights, and tenslay becomes a name people remember. Straight after, he follows with "Doglife 2", an owned sequel, video directed by Wot Street, mix by Jay Breezy. The Doglife concept settles as his brand, and the VCVC tag leaves the KJF circle to become recognisable.

Douxtcha in 2025: the bridge to the wider scene

In June 2025, tenslay steps onto "Douxtcha" by Pinpin OSP as a featuring. The single comes out on Apple Music, composed by Brian LOMBA and Stanley HENRI, video by Above Corp. For the first time he really leaves the KJF BOYZ circle to enter the wider Bouyon conversation.

No large solo catalogue outside the Doglife series for now. But the VCVC tag keeps turning, and with every featuring that passes through him, the Dominican-Guadeloupean identity comes back along with it.
