Who Pinpin OSP is · Read the full story · Frequently asked questions
Pinpin OSP is a Guadeloupean bouyon artist. The path starts with trap. Today he's all in on bouyon, that's where he puts his voice, that's where he releases.
The bouyon catalog opens in 2023 with "Open Like Dat". Same year, "Vody" drops on DJ-Taffy's Funny Riddim, one of the riddims driving the Gwada scene at the time. In 2024, "Don't Play" lands with YasBeats on production, and "Ti bébé" extends the run. The tracks travel on local radio and TikTok.
2025 opens the features phase. "Douxtcha" drops with tenslay, a bridge between the Guadeloupean scene and tenslay's Dominican roots. "BACK IT UP" follows with Ted la and CK gee. And he connects with Shanika on "On Biten Ba'w", collab that plugs him into the female pole of the scene. That same year, "My Lolly" drops with Guadeloupe bouyon trio Totally Spice's.
On the platform side, Apple Music ranks Pinpin OSP next to Cocotteland, Thesmsgirls, Totally Spice's, LESTEF KJF and DJ LEGUSTE. That's the contemporary Gwada bouyon map, where he clearly belongs since he switched from trap.
Bouyon artist, ex-trap
Pinpin OSP is a Guadeloupean Bouyon artist. Before, he made trap. Today he is all in on Bouyon , that is where he lays his voice, that is where he releases. The switch is owned: this is not a mix of the two, it is a new lane.
2023-2024: Open Like Dat, Vody, Don't Play
The Bouyon catalogue opens in 2023 with "Open Like Dat". The same year, "Vody" comes out on DJ-Taffy's Funny Riddim, one of the riddims keeping the Gwada scene turning at the time. In 2024, "Don't Play" arrives under YasBeats production, and "Ti bébé" extends the sequence. The titles run on local radio and on TikTok. The name Pinpin OSP becomes a name people remember in Bouyon Gwada.
2025: the featuring phase with tenslay, Ted la, Shanika
2025 opens the collaborative phase. "Douxtcha" comes out with tenslay, a bridge between the Guadeloupean scene and tenslay's Dominican roots, over one beat. "BACK IT UP" follows with Ted la and CK gee. And the collaboration with Shanika on "On Biten Ba'w" plugs him into the female hub of the scene.
On Apple Music, Pinpin OSP sits next to Cocotteland, Thesmsgirls, Totally Spice's, LESTEF KJF and DJ LEGUSTE. That is the map of contemporary Bouyon Gwada, the one he clearly belongs to since he left trap.
