Pre-transition 2018-2019 and the first connections

Eddy Vanerot, alias Edday, starts releasing publicly before the big recomposition of modern Bouyon Gwada. In 2018, "Ou Ni Sa" with Bilix places him in the early mesh of the Guadeloupe circuit. The following year is pivotal: in 2019, "Ouu La La" with Reo traces a first direct bridge to the Dominican scene, and "Ti KoKa" with Bilix, LaRose and VJ Ben lines up four names that shape the Bouyon Gwada transition of the late 2010s. At that point the scene is in full recomposition. While other voices of the era rise as collectives and form identifiable outfits, Edday picks a different logic: he builds his network through targeted collaborations. Reo in 2019, then Lestef KJF Boyz afterwards, then DJ Luchshiy later. That strategy of chosen connections rather than membership in a single collective marks his whole run, and explains why he appears on very different releases without ever locking himself into one chapel.

The Xmas Freestyle cycle 2023-2025 and the Lestef KJF Boyz series

The Lestef KJF Boyz / DJ Luchshiy cycle becomes a major signature of the catalogue. In 2023, "Xmas freestyle" with DJ Luchshiy and Lestef KJF Boyz opens the series. In 2024, three extensions arrive: "Chabin (Xmas Freestyle)", "Mons (Xmas Freestyle)" and "To to to (Xmas Freestyle)", all with DJ Luchshiy and Lestef KJF Boyz, building a small Xmas Freestyle world around a ritual end-of-year period. That same year 2024, "Wifi Freestyle" with DJ Luchshiy, Jixels and Reo connects the Gwada pole (DJ Luchshiy) with Reo's Dominican voice. In 2025, "X PRESS FREESTYLE [EP]" with DJ Luchshiy and Lestef KJF Boyz formalises the series as an EP. The same year, "Late Night" with DJ Taffy, Little Boy and Quan opens a direct connection with the post-CMA Dominican network. "Backshot" with Reo, "Poukwa" with Jixels and "You Mad" with Reo, DJ Luchshiy and Jixels confirm the circulation between the two islands.

Back to the roots and stability, 2022-2026

The Gwada transition mesh stays visible in 2022 and 2023. "I Like Woman" with Kevni, LaRose and Reo in 2022 extends the Reo / LaRose momentum opened in 2019. "D Kako" with Kevni the same year consolidates the Kevni axis. "Controling baby" with Yellow Gaza in 2023 writes his name into the Yellow Gaza cycle, an important reference for mapping the history of Bouyon Gwada. In 2026, "Jéré Sa" with DJ Softee, Jixels, DJ Boko and YSN, "She miss me" with Jixels and Shanika and "Touchdown" with Jixels confirm his staying power. Six years after his structuring first singles of 2019, he is still there, without ever fully switching into a formal collective. That stability through targeted collaborations rather than collective enrolment makes his profile one of the clearest indicators of continuity between the Bouyon Gwada transition (Bilix, Kevni, LaRose, VJ Ben) and the contemporary platform wave (DJ Luchshiy, Jixels, Lestef KJF Boyz).
