DJ · beatmaker · singer
DJ Skaytah is a DJ, beatmaker and singer out of Guadeloupe and Martinique. Signature tag: "TAH TAH". A dozen countries spun, production credit on TIITII NBA's "Pushing P (Bouyon 2023)", then the carnival anthems Mass, Batman and Kay Ka Fet self-released.
DJ Skaytah is a DJ, beatmaker and singer out of Guadeloupe and Martinique. On his productions, he drops a signature you catch in the first seconds: "TAH TAH". It's also the name he goes by on his socials. In the studio, he switches hats — beats, vocals, mix — with a personal touch on bouyon instruments and rhythm. The first traces go back to 2017, on SoundCloud, with his mix sessions for NRJ Antilles. Two years later, in 2019, he drops his first catalog feature: "Elle veut pas" with Edday. The Skaytah × Edday tandem comes back in 2022 with "Jaloux". February 2023 is the pivot: he signs the production on "Pushing P (Bouyon 2023)" for TIITII NBA. Production is his signature: he stamps his print on the bouyon instruments and rhythm, and the TAH TAH tag opens the track. From 2024, DJ Skaytah switches to self-publishing. On February 3, 2024, he drops "Mass (Welcome To Guadeloupe)" under his own label name. Right after, the EP "Kay Ka Fet, Vol. 1 (Bouyon 2024)" and the single "Batman (Bouyon 2024)" stamp his carnival mark. The series goes on with "Batman 2" in 2025, and 2026 kicks off with "Mass 2 (Welcome To Guadeloupe)" for carnival and "Montpel Carnival Anthem II" with Mada4bang, Sagaya, Sabri Sama and La Wif. On stage, he's spun in about ten countries: France, Belgium, Germany, Canada, Côte d'Ivoire, Saint Martin, Dominica, Saint Barths, Réunion. An international run that matches the tag — "TAH TAH" follows wherever the music goes.

TIITII NBA was singing Bouyon in Guadeloupe before the term "New Bouyon Wave" even existed. With Aknose and Softee, he forms the founding trio that the next generation plugs into from 2022 onward — Theomaa, Nils, Le Juh, 1T1 and Luky Lukee. In 2023, the single "New Bouyon Wave #1" drops with his name on it alongside Aknose, Softee, Nils and Theomaa. Since then, he's been stacking the Warm Up sessions that define the movement: "KPT", "LESE NOU PASE" and "Warm Up" with Ma6mo and Diixly.
Bouyon artist
Edday — real name Eddy Vanerot — is one of the solo voices of the Gwada Bouyon transition. As early as 2019, he dropped "Ouu La La" with Reo and "Ti KoKa" with Bilix, LaRose and VJ Ben — two singles that anchored the transition. Six years later, "You Mad" 2025 with Reo, DJ Luchshiy and Jixels confirms he's still part of the chain linking the pre and post New Bouyon Wave eras.
