A first Dominican feature in 2021, then the Gwada switch in 2023

DJ Luchshiy is born in 1996 in Guadeloupe. At 25 he signs his first public bouyon trace with "Je T'aime Dayleeway", a direct feature with Mr Ridge, a Dominican voice. The direction is set early: a Guadeloupean producer starting out on Dominica is not the norm. For two years the name stays quiet on the Gwada side. Then in 2023, "KKM" with Aknose becomes his first big Guadeloupean release, and one of the earliest traces anchoring the New Bouyon Wave in an identifiable production. From 2024 the pace takes off. "HOLIDAYS" with TIITII NBA comes out the same year, followed by the "Xmas Freestyle" series with Edday and Lestef KJF Boyz, three tracks ("Chabin", "Mons", "To to to") that shape the end of 2024 on the platform network. "Shake It" with Lucky lukee and MiiMii KDS and "BOUNCE" with DJ Softee the same year confirm he is becoming a recurring signature on the circuit.

The 2025 cycle: a systematic bridge between Guadeloupe and Dominica

2025 crystallises his role as a connector. "You Mad" brings together Reo (a Dominican voice from Colihaut), Jixels and Edday, a single release lining up Guadeloupean production and Dominican writing. That same year he signs the Bouyonmon versions of "DANJÉRÈZ" and "PXRNSTAR" with TIITII NBA, in Creole then in English. "On My Mind" extends the TIITII NBA series. On the Lestef KJF Boyz side, "NO COME BACK (WHATCHA SAY)" and "Whatcha Say Riddim" open a collective riddim. "6 Dwèt" places him in a Lestef KJF Boyz / Totally Spice's trio. "Yo wont" with Shanika and "Call me" with LaRose widen the mesh further. The catalogue mixes shatta, soca and bouyon, not a producer locked into one tempo, but a name circulating between the rhythms of the French- and English-speaking Caribbean.

2026: continuity and entry into collective riddims

2026 confirms the staying power. "PINPON RIDDIM" gathers a wide collective around LeJuh (Fredo, Pichi, LewisMelo, Dcamp), typical of Caribbean riddims where several voices ride the same beat. "TAKE UR TIME" extends the series with Lestef KJF Boyz. "BRG Happy" with BRG Hollywood widens the network. The constant since 2021: a name moving the sound between Guadeloupe and Dominica without a break, producing for the founding voices of the New Bouyon Wave (Aknose, TIITII NBA) as much as for the Dominican artists of the Reo / Mr Ridge circuit. That double footing, rare on the scene, makes his catalogue one of the clearest indicators of bouyon circulating between the two islands in the mid-2020s.
