Di Bouyon Rockstar: a brand, a flag, two continents

Khallion is the "Di Bouyon Rockstar" of Dominica. The nickname is not an Instagram-bio flourish: it structures his entire presence, from his verified account to the "777" series of projects carrying his name. An artist of the Nasty Business circuit, connected to the Warm Up current alongside DJ Taffy, Keks Mafia and TIITII NBA, he works both sides of the Caribbean Atlantic: the island on one side, the American diaspora on the other.

From "Put That On That" to the album 777: the 2024-2025 climb

July 2024: Khallion releases "Put That On That", the single that commits to his Bouyon tilt, it will run hard enough to be remixed as a featuring with Stalk Ashley. In December he steps onto the "Bram vs Bouyon" stage in Atlanta, a marker of the genre settling in North America. On 26 April 2025 he joins the line-up of Strictly the Best Festival. Bouyon Edition in Saint Martin, the island's first dedicated Bouyon festival, in front of more than 5,000 fans, alongside Pudaz, Litleboy, Reo, Nice, Kenny G, Trilla G, Trixx, Edday and Mr Ridge. Then comes the rare gesture: on 7 July 2025 he releases "777 Di Bouyon Rockstar", a twelve-title album in a circuit where the economics of the single rule, the same long-format strategy as Trilla-G with "Take Me As I Am".

2026: a CMA nomination and a second 777 instalment

2026 confirms the trajectory. "Put That On That" takes a Song of the Year nomination at the Caribbean Music Awards, in an edition where Dominica dominates the Bouyon categories. Khallion strings releases together. "Rum Dat Do Me Dat" featuring Reo, "Shake It", "Can't Leave You Alone", "Frienemy", "Stand Up", and returns to Atlanta in April for Bram vs Bouyon. His featuring "How To Love" with Nailah Blackman and DeeArr already stretches a bridge towards soca, while his collaborations with Green Apple ("Bend Down", "Arch Your Back") feed the circuit. And the series continues: "777: Not Giving Up", his new project, is already online.
