From Calypso King 2023 to collaborative Bouyon voice

The title of Dominican Calypso King 2023 marks his first national institutional recognition, but it is the Bouyon lane that opens the higher dimension. The same year, "RAGS" with Shelly of Signal Band and Skinny Fabulous wins the very first Bouyon Road March of Dominica in March 2025, setting an institutional precedent. "Stampede" with Reo in 2025 and "Without you" with Nice and Reo in 2024 show the featurings keep circulating on the local production side, without dependence on a single team.

Take Me as I Am 2025 and the Billboard recognition

On 22 October 2025, Trilla-G releases his first album "Take Me as I Am", 13 titles recorded at Th3rdHouse Studios in the US Virgin Islands, with V'ghn, Stalk Ashley, Mr Ridge and Shelly. The album takes number 1 on the Dominican streaming platforms on 24 October, and in April 2026 Billboard names Trilla-G "Up-And-Coming Caribbean Artist of the Month", the first mainstream international press recognition for a recent solo Dominican Bouyon artist. The summer confirms the pace: the single "I Like Outside" comes out on 15 July 2026. The release sits within a post-cancer path Billboard makes a point of highlighting. On the Bouyon blog side, Trilla-G is positioned in the chapters Global Crossover and Recognition and Limits, he embodies precisely the passage where platform recognition starts converging with the traditional Soca / Caribbean press.
