Bouyon artist · 2025 DMA Bouyon Artist of the Year
In 2022, Pudaz — also credited Dirty Dawg Pudaz — drops his voice on "Push Ur Hand In Your" alongside Dova, Kenny G and Mr Ridge. He steps into the Nasty Business circle just before the Mr Ridge explosion in August of the same year. Two years later, "B.D.Y.M.M." with Ridge (2024) starts spinning on Shazam. The 2024 World Creole Music Festival programs him headlining alongside Ridge. In 2025, he wins Bouyon Artist of the Year at the Dominica Music Awards. On April 26, 2025, he hits the Strictly the Best Festival SXM stage in front of 5,000 fans. In 2026, he drops "Have What They Have" with Faithii — the single bridging him to the new Bouyon Barbie female wave.
Drawing the line between the two matters: Mr Ridge creates Nasty Business with his eponymous single in August 2022, and he's the one who takes both 2024 and 2025 CMA Bouyon Artist of the Year wins. Pudaz, on his side, is the voice carrying the subgenre on the most important Caribbean Bouyon stages. His Viberate Dirty Dawg Pudaz profile lists "B.D.Y.M.M.", "Cover Up", "D Coo Coo" and "Urpen That" in his top songs. In 2024, his WCMF programming (sourced by Nate Media) places him on the most prestigious Dominican Bouyon stage. In 2025, the DMA + Strictly the Best SXM double installs him in the Nasty Business central quartet: Mr Ridge creator, Pudaz DMA champion, Asa Banton People's Choice CMA 2024, Faithii 2025+ female wave.
