Sukie

Sukie is a male Dominican artist of the Nasty Business circuit. His full nickname. Sukie Burn Brain, displays a direct lineage with the Burn Brain Jolly / wrecketeng ecosystem of the Dominican 2000s (Nursery Krew Inc. as matrix, Smokiller as moderniser from 2020). That genealogy places him in the underground lineage of Bouyon, distinct from the modern-bands matrix (WCK, Triple Kay, Signal Band) but continuous with the Mr Ridge / Pudaz / Kenny G line defining contemporary Nasty Business. Originally from Roseau, he is identified in his Bombdrop studio profile as a male artist, absolute editorial vigilance is required on the female homonym documented in other Caribbean contexts, notably SVG or Trinidad soca.

His public trajectory consolidates around two markers. First his breakthrough single "Work That Pussy Muscle", a frontal, unfiltered title that puts him straight into the Nasty Business DNA. Then "iCandy", in November 2022, produced by Ras Stickle, from St Kitts, with KT Dan and Tobap, which structures his solo catalogue (rare in the Nasty Business circuit where the single economy and featurings dominate). The continuation of his discography runs through solo singles and Nasty Business features rather than through long projects.
