DJ Skycee

A beatmaker from Le Moule, now all over the 2025 Gwada credits

DJ Skycee is a Guadeloupean DJ, composer and beatmaker based in Le Moule. His breakthrough happens in 2025. In July, he produces "Sé Miimii" for MiiMii KDS, a single that steps outside the purely Caribbean zone when it earns a Pitchfork "Best New Track" review and pushes him into the global bouyon conversation. That is the moment his name moves from the local circuit to the international radar, and it is also the moment his production signature becomes recognisable. "Sé Miimii" quickly stands as his biggest track, and in its wake DJ Skycee reaches a monthly audience on Spotify that is rare for a beatmaker on this scene.

The MiiMii KDS, Lucky lukee, TIITII NBA and Lestef KJF network

That same year, 2025, DJ Skycee follows with "WITH SOME BOYZ" alongside Lucky lukee and MiiMii KDS, then "FEEL LONELY" with TIITII NBA. His other credits run through T-BTS, Billy BYBF, Lucky lukee and Lestef KJF, the entire current backbone of Bouyon Gwada production. Few Gwada beatmakers appear at the same time with MiiMii KDS, TIITII NBA and Lestef KJF: that is what sets Skycee apart in the landscape. He works as a junction point between poles of the circuit that are usually kept separate. That position also comes from working bouyon and dancehall in parallel, a range that opens both ecosystems to him, in Le Moule and beyond.

A dense 2026 cycle between singles and collective EPs

In 2026, DJ Skycee keeps up a steady pace. "TONIGHT" with Shaimee, Bilix and Tileflo confirms his presence on collective singles and plugs him into the Bilix-Tileflo pole. On the EP side, he composes for Billy BYBF's "SUPER BAYOBONFE" in April 2026, Atox's "CARNA" in February 2026, and the collective album "Travaillons" released in July 2024. The density of those credits over two years places Skycee in the hard core of Bouyon Gwada producers of his generation, the one whose name keeps coming back when you look at the releases that define the period. His map of direct collaborations. MiiMii KDS, Lucky lukee, TIITII NBA, Bilix, assembles in two years almost the entire network of Gwada voices reaching outside the islands. For a beatmaker from Le Moule who starts 2025 without an international credit, that progression sets Skycee as a name to watch in the Bouyon Gwada production to come.
