Fallon

Fallon holds a singular place in the contemporary Bouyon scene. She is not a core Bouyon voice, but she is the claimed creator of RnBouyon, that stylistic fusion of R&B vocals over slowed Bouyon, at the origin of a crossover line that then unfolded on a large scale. In 2026, she steps out of the role of starting point herself.

RnBouyon has to be placed within the landscape of contemporary sub-currents. Three variations coexist across 2025-2026: Warm Up, a slowed Bouyon (125-134 BPM) with a ballad structure on the Guadeloupean New Bouyon Wave side; Bouyon-muffin, a ragga+Bouyon fusion dated to 1995 by Skinny Banton over WCK productions; and RnBouyon, a stylistic fusion of structural R&B vocals over slowed Bouyon, of which Fallon is claimed as creator and of which Theodora let echoes be heard on the francophone pop side. That distinction is not a detail: confusing Warm Up and RnBouyon would credit Fallon with a creation belonging to another lineage, that of the Gwada diaspora.

RnBouyon then develops by capillary action. Denden carries the line on from 2024, then Theodora lets echoes of it be heard on the mainstream pop side in 2025. The Eurockéennes Belfort 2025 stage "Bad Gyal Bouyon Le Bon", bringing together Theodora, Holly G and Totally Spice's, marks the entry of the crossover line into a major French festival, and even though Fallon does not appear on it herself, it is her stylistic grammar that makes that line-up possible.

In 2026, Fallon no longer settles for opening the way: she walks it. Her EP "Winter Princess" comes out on 20 February, ten titles that set her RnBouyon down as a complete project, with "Do You Dance" alongside 1T1, "Fake Woman" with Ronisia and "Bout du Monde" with Nono La Grinta. In April she takes the Flamme for female breakthrough at the Flammes 2026. On 31 May she opens for Aya Nakamura at the Stade de France. Then she takes her RnBouyon to the Francos de Montréal, her first time in Canada.

What is solid is the RnBouyon stylistic claim and her role as the starting point of a francophone crossover line. Fallon named that line before carrying it, in 2026, under her own name.
