Who Boy Freeze is · Read the full story · Frequently asked questions
Boy Freeze, Fr3EzE on the platforms, is a producer. He starts around five or six, on a toy keyboard his parents bought him. A friend who plays drums then shows him beat-making software, and that is where, he says, Freeze is born. When he picks the name he is mostly making EDM, and he wants a name that sticks in EDM as well as in trap.
The public turning point is a Bouyon remix of Adele's "Love in the Dark". One evening, scrolling Instagram, he hears it, downloads it, strips the drums and starts building his own version. He believes he made it on a Thursday night and posted it on TikTok that Friday.
Nothing was planned, he says, and the remix plays everywhere during the 2025 Creole season. What it taught him: follow your gut and put the music out without waiting for the perfect moment.
A riddim every Friday: he has kept that pace for three or four years by his own count, so before the Adele remix. His riddims are licensed on his beat profile, and he says he does no outright buyouts. He keeps stacking collaborations: a "DUO Bouyon Riddim" co-produced with XavvoKnockin (Saint-Martin), Bouyon remixes with DJ Wizz767.
By his own account he is also behind the riddim of "Take The Bus Baby", a Triple Kay single from 2026: he had posted it on his TikTok in September, where it did not catch on, and it was requested in December or January.
