1T1→On Monday, October 12, Theomaa tells the story of the journey on camera, in a storytime format. On October 9, 1T1 goes through the same exercise. The two voices of "Bouwéy" now each have their own account.
At the heart of the conversation: Theomaa's rise, and the pride of leaving Guadeloupe to go after real recognition on the Caribbean stage. Hard work, perseverance and self-belief run through the whole video, which passes 1,200 likes in three days.
That recognition already has an address. In September, in Port of Spain, the Caribbean Music Awards hand the duo two trophies: Bouyon Song of the Year for "Bouwéy" and French Caribbean Song of the Year for "Ouba".
The "Bouwéy" music video, released on January 24, 2025, now nears 27 million views on YouTube. The "Ouba" video passes 2.8 million. The storytime traces the road that leads from Guadeloupe to those numbers.
