On Saturday, October 10, at 10 p.m., Rhythm & Soul Restaurant Lounge in Lauderhill, Florida, opens its doors for Miami Carnival Explosion. At the top of the bill is a name from Dominica: Shelly, billed as the "Bouyon Boss". The night runs until 4 a.m.
Team 340 and DK Entertainment put the night together. Around Shelly, the bill lines up Jougo, Blind Earz, Unstoppable Shax, Shaw HP, Brandon from ASAP Band and two sound systems, Firehouse Sounds and Red Lion Sounds. The crowd it calls on stretches from Dominica to the Virgin Islands.
Shelly and Unstoppable Shax have shared a project before. In early April 2026, both are credited with Signal Band, Trilla-G and Téhilah on "Lapidé Yo", a single piece running more than fifteen minutes. The same year, Shelly & Signal Band are among the nominees for Bouyon Artist of the Year at the Caribbean Music Awards, with "Bye to the Old Me" in the running for bouyon song of the year.
After Florida comes the trip home. On Sunday, October 25, Shelly & The Signal Band play the closing night of the World Creole Music Festival at Windsor Park Sports Stadium, with Unstoppable Shax on the same bill.
