On Thursday, October 1, Ridge puts out the video for "Crazy Indian Solo", on the Vijay Riddim. At the top of the credits, one line: keyboard solo, Ridge. Around him, Don on backup keys, Joel on guitar, Elijah on bass and Fridge on drums. Fridge also handles the mixing and mastering.
The song also comes out as a single, three minutes forty, under the Cross D Bridge credit. It adds to an already busy year. In January, Ridge shares "Fair Exchange" with Problem Child and Nelly Cottoy. In June, he releases the "Blue Badness Riddim" with Bajan Tube, five tracks.
What comes next happens on stage. On Friday, October 23, Ridge is on the bill of the first night of the World Creole Music Festival, at Windsor Park Sports Stadium. The festival holds its twenty-sixth edition over three nights, from October 23 to 25. Three weeks separate the solo from that first night.
