At the Bouyon Kitchen Studios in Dominica, Derek "Rah" Peters meets his son at the keyboards. The studio carries his own stage name, Bouyonemperah.
Ajmal "Skyo" Peters, a music producer and studio and live engineer, holds the keys. His father, WCK's drummer and lead voice in its early years, watches him work under the same roof. In late October 2026, the session circulates on film, stripped down: a microphone, a keyboard, and the two men side by side.
WCK co-founds Bouyon in Roseau in 1988, with Rah Peters on drums alongside Cornell Phillip. Nearly forty years later, the studio that carries his name keeps the genre turning, this time with his son at the controls.
