Definition
Vador, real name Cedrick Raboteur (sometimes spelled Vadore), is the organizer, producer and Bouyon importer who opens the genre's infrastructure in Guadeloupe from 2007 [S-6]. His function is not only artistic — it is first and foremost to import the format (dedicated nights, venues, sound systems, local label) that lets a Bouyon Gwada scene exist.
The 2007 doorway
According to Le Courrier de Guadeloupe, Vador organizes Bouyon nights with his uncle starting in 2007 and partners with Francky Belote, owner of Krazy Tras — a venue identified in local press as one of the first physical nodes of Bouyon Gwada [S-6]. That association — an organizer + a venue owner + a building audience — establishes the material conditions of the first wave.
The Aknose interview at Loxymore (Karukera Festival, 2 April 2024) adds a detail rarely mentioned in press: Vador is Aknose's cousin [I-15]. This family connection says something important about how the Bouyon Gwada wave starts — not via a cultural institution or industrial label, but via intimate circles (family, friends, Krazy Tras circuits) that gradually rise into visibility.
Vadore Concept Groupe
From 2011-2012, Vadore Concept Groupe appears as label / production structure. The SoundCloud trace of 16 November 2011 (Suppa - I Don't Know — Vadore Concept Groupe) marks Suppa's entry into Vador's dispositif. The Bouyon Music Live Tour 2012, organized by Vador, institutionalizes the Bouyon Gwada scene amid a hostile institutional climate (see 2009 blackout).
