Definition
RnBouyon is the fusion of R&B and slowed Bouyon: R&B vocals laid over slow Bouyon riddims. Fallon, a crossover artist from the French Caribbean (Martinique / Guadeloupe), is the first to claim the creation of the current and to give it a name — a fusion nobody had named before her. She opens it from 2024.
The voices
Fallon opens the sub-current, Denden picks it up in 2024-2025. Denden's profile also documents an editorial bridge between this RnBouyon positioning and Afrobeats — an example of contemporary crossover between scenes.
Boundaries
The category has its limits, set by chapter XII: not everything is RnBouyon because a voice turns melodic. Sub-forms exist to help read the Bouyon map, not to inflate tags.
