Definition
Killa is one of the three co-founders of Triple Kay International, where he holds the keys and the production. His first public trace as a band member goes back to its formation, in Laudat, in the late 1990s. He is one of the figures who define modern Bouyon beyond the WCK laboratory frame: his role is to think the band form that can hold the carnival arena, stable rehearsal, division of roles, reproducible sonic architecture.
In the internal editorial pitch, Killa is described as "the voice of strategy" of modern Bouyon. That qualification points less to a personal posture than to a function: he is the musician who thinks Bouyon as an exportable system, not only as spontaneous energy.
The keyboard and the production
Inside Triple Kay, Killa holds the keyboard-architect position. He holds the keys over which Benji, Tazzy and Sweet Ticky's voices land. This explicit division (one keyboard-architect + multiple lead voices + a rhythm section) is the structural signature of the modern band, and it differs from WCK which operated on a tighter five-musician core.
In a BRUKOUT TV interview on 23 April 2025, Killa says the track by Bunji Garlin, Machel Montano and Skinny Fabulous, built on a Dominican producer's rhythm, is 100% bouyon, and that the credits were corrected after he spoke. It is his own account, not confirmed elsewhere; the video's automatic transcript writes "Family". This episode, outside the 2000-2010 period, sheds light on Killa's role in the public memory of the genre.
