Bouyon New Waves
The cream of bouyon: current hits, emerging artists and underrated voices, picked by TIITII NBA.
The Dominica band's year started early: "Calendar Riddim 2025" on January 2, "What YOU Say" on January 5, "De Other Man" two days later, "Lapidé Yo" with Téhilah in April, then "Out da Group Chat" on June 5. In between, Shelly features on Trilla-G's "Bayfront".
Signal Band was born in 2010 in Dominica. Shelly first plays guitar, before moving to vocals and leading the band. It all starts on the porch of Shelly's childhood home in Goodwill, drumming on a table and singing with friends. The aim, Shelly says in January: to be "the messenger of relatable lyrics".
